My name is Melanie Jane Froud. A local to Maryborough in Queensland Australia.
I am member of the Maryborough Art Society Inc and a freelance artist, who works in a diversity of subjects.
Since a very young age my passion for art has always been something within me and through art I learnt to express my emotions in the form of drawing and painting. I am self taught and during my tertiary years I expanded my learning to include sculpture, painting, design, and sketching.
Recently I have been studying under International award winning artist, Tony Moffitt.
My aim as an artist is to create art that speaks.
I become involved with my paintings and I put great feeling into my work. My focus is on creating pieces that reflect the thought and emotion that I pour into them.
I am very passionate about the subjects I choose. I don't work in a particular genre; I paint the subjects that reach out to me.
