Bus Trip – Sat. 4th Sept
Thank you to all who supports this trip. We have booked the bus for the 4th Sept 2010. Looking forward to seeing you all at the Bus Pick Up point which is the Car Park diagonally opposite the City Hall at 6.30 am. We will hold some raffles on the bus and hope to have an enjoyable day

Computers
Margaret and Audrey have updated the main office computer allowing us extra speed and additional memory. We are keeping one of the old computers that Bill acquired from the Wide Bay Volunteers as a back-up.

DIGITAL ART CLASSES
Monika Bayer would like to know if there is anyone interested in Digital Art Classes. Contact her at bayerstudio@bigpond.com and also to remind Members to place two of their paintings on to our website, free of charge. Contact Monika for uploading details

TESS WILDLIFE PARK OUTING
There was a good attendance last Sunday 22nd Aug. The weather was fantastic and we hope to maybe do Bambooland in the next week or two.

Gallery & Roster Report for 2010

At present – ending on Sunday September 19th)
G1 & G2 "Anything People". A colourful compilation of works including portraits, figures, activities, buildings and locations where they (those people) might be.

G3 "Biologica" A study of some animals and plants. This is a collection of vibrant works inspired by Mother Nature herself!

Special thanks go to Ve, Helen, Pam and Jan for their work in hanging the new exhibitions.
Future – Sept. 19th – Biggenden Arts Group, Oct 10th. Maryborough Special School, Nov. 22nd – Maisie Kaufmann Learning Centre, Nov. 28th – Small (less than A4) and Miniature and to include works from the Members' Art Challenge.

Artistic Activities and Outings

The Workshops area is available every week morning for members to use. Please come and paint and enjoy the fabulous natural lighting in that area.

The newest Members' Art Challenge started Tues. Aug 17 and entries (max size A3) must be handed in by Friday Sept 17th. Title "Gone Fishing". Remember – any Medium and it is not necessary to frame your entry

Thursday Morning Art Group continues to meet in the workshops area of our Gallery

Date Saver – Quarterly Social Luncheon – your final chance in 2010 to meet and socialise with like-minded artists at Parkview Restaurant overlooking the Brolga on Tuesday November 9th from 11.30 am.

Painting "en-plein-aire" is cancelled until further notice because of lack of interest.

Thank you to all Members who responded to the Activity Feedback Survey.

Please notify the Gallery should you be able to donate any painting videos or dvds for our Library.
